It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Verna Macklin in Regina, SK, at the age of 91. Verna (Boutillier) was born in Soda Lake, AB and made her home in the Hairy Hill and Willingdon areas, before moving to BC and living in the Comox Valley, Quadra Island and Mission.
She was the proud matriarch of a large and loving family, leaving behind a lasting legacy through her six children, five stepchildren, 33 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren and their families. A celebration of her life will be held at Quadra Island Bible Church on March 16, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
