It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Judy. Born in Leedale, Alberta. Survived by husband Tony, children Dan (Donna), Tom (Brenda), and Debi (Angus); grandchildren Michael (Ronnie), Meghan (Mike), Mark and Mathew (Renee); grandchildren Russel, Brooklyn, and Jessica; brothers Sam and Ron (Morgan) Thomas; sister Genevieve Amy (Sandy); brother-in-law John (Jean); sisters-in-law Ella and Ferlie.
Judy was an incredibly creative person and she left us with many of her artistic creations in pottery and paintings. She was so amazing with her stone paintings that they were so popular with people from all over! She had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening so much. Cats were her favourite creatures, but also loved all wildlife. When she was invited to join the Warrior Women - as she had some Menominee blood - she was so pleased.
We would like to thank the staff at Ayre Manor for their care of Judy, and a special thanks for the excellent care of Dr. Brennan McKnight.
It was Judy's wish that a private family celebration would take place, where we will spread her cremated remains at her chosen place.
