It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Trudy May Cobb on December 2, 2017, at the age of 73.
She will be deeply missed by her daughter Jodi Cobb (Richard), nieces Carmen (Jeff) and Carolyn (Neil) King. She also leaves behind brothers George (Susan) and Derek (Darlene) Radstaak and her extended family.
Predeceased by her husband Thomas Cobb, sister Betty King and parents William and May Radstaak.
Trudy's wisdom, her sparkle and love of a good time was at the core of her relationships with her wide range of dear friends, old and new.
She loved her little house, her dog Shelby Lou and her life in the Comox Valley but she was also an explorer. She travelled the world extensively, recently back from a trip to Europe with her book club friends.
You may remember her as the welcoming face behind the desk at Dr. Bill Toews dental office for many years until her retirement.
We will remember her resilience, her openness and as the person we all went to when we needed advice or comfort over a glass of wine.
To truly honour her in the way she would have wanted, a celebration of Trudy's life will be held in late spring.
