After a heroic fight with cancer, Tina surrendered peacefully on March 12, 2019 in Nanaimo, BC with family by her side.  She leaves behind her husband John, and children Kendall and Alden. Tina was born on March 7, 1969 in Port Alberni to Gerry and Connie Kirkpatrick.

As a child she became a figure skater and enjoyed many camping, boating and skiing trips with family, sister Kim, cousins and friends. Tina's passion for adventure took her to Vancouver after graduation. This is where she began her career as an Insurance Agent and met her love, John.  North Vancouver became home, a perfect place to explore the outdoors as a family and with friends hiking, skiing and biking the North Shore mountains. Always active, Tina loved concerts, camping at Nitinat lake and traveling to warm destinations. A highlight was the family trip to Europe. A move back to the Island to be close to family was her next adventure where Tina  continued to lovingly raise Kendall and Alden. She supported Kendall through many dance classes, festivals, recitals and fiddle concerts. Cheered on Alden from the soccer sideline and baseball bleachers.

Tina is predeceased by her Grandparents Mary and Ray Nabseth, Mother-in-law Ann Holzwarth, cousin Jeffery Nabseth and Papa Floyd Kirkpatrick.

A smile and an encouraging word for those she shared her life with was limitless.  Tina lived her life to the fullest, always trying to fit just one more thing into her day. Her joy was infectious and she made everyone in her presence feel loved and accepted.  She believed everyone deserves to feel happiness.

Tina will be deeply missed by John, Kendall, Alden, her mother and father Connie and Gerry, sister Kim Cooper (Andy), father-in-law Egon Holzwarth, sister-in-law Elissa Holzwarth, grandmother Denise Kirkpatrick, lovely aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cherished cousins and many special friends.
