Born in Northern Ireland, Thomas "Tom" Taylor of Cobble Hill, BC and beloved husband of 15 years to Gwen, passed away peacefully at the Cowichan District Hospital on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at the age of 83 years.
Leaving to mourn is his son, John Palmer Taylor and family; daughter, Joanne (David) Roddy of Texas, USA as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends in Northern Ireland. Thomas was predeceased by his youngest son, Tom Jr. (2010).
Born and raised in Northern Ireland, Thomas immigrated to Canada in 1979 and spent most of his career as a proud Chief Engineer for C.S.L Canada Steamship Lines. He will be lovingly missed by all who know him. The family wishes to extend a special Thank you to Dr. Reimer and the Mill Bay paramedics for the care and compassion that will never be forgotten.
