Ted passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 15th at Royal Jubilee Hospital after a brief struggle with heart failure. His sons, Aaron, Rory, and daughter in law, Michelle were by his side.
Ted will be forever missed by his wife of 22 years, Theresa; sons, Aaron (Jenny) and Rory (Michelle); step children, Charity and Bryon Noble; grandchildren, Paige, Willard, Caleb, and Sarah Franks and Emily, Alicia, and Vicentẻ Ferreira, Eden, and Sonny; siblings, Ron Franks, Ken Franks, and Sharon Bronson. Ted was predeceased by his parents, Theodore and Joyce Franks and his sister, Joyce Vallee.
Ted worked at Somass Mill most of his working life, then at A.P.D. from 2012 until 2015 retiring in June. He then went back to work for his son, Rory at RCF Painting from May 2016 to November 2021.
Ted had a love for God and a faith that was second to none. He was a faithful and active member of his church, The Lighthouse, where he attended faithfully from 1991 until his sudden passing.
He was an avid and active motorcycle lover. From his multiple motorcycles, he was most happy when riding them with the wind in his face, the horizon before him, and an adventure waiting to be found. Ted was a simple man with a great big heart who loved his family, most especially his grandkids. Ted has many passions in life but of them all his greatest passion was his love for Jesus Christ and the Gospel. His second greatest passion was "anything" motorcycles.
He will be greatly missed by those who loved him. Ted's motto was and often times he'd be heard quoting Philippians 1:21, "For to me to live is Christ, but to die is gain." Ted definitely received his eternal reward with the Lord welcoming him to his forever home with these words, "Well Done Thy Good and Faithful Servant. Enter into the Joy of Thy Lord".
