1932-2020 ~ It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Theresa. Born May Theresa Lacroix on May 10,1932 in Stockholm, Saskatchewan she was the youngest of three children. In her 20's she married Bill Stickle in St Boniface MB and moved to British Columbia to start their family in the Wild West. Theresa had many fond memories of friends and family from their years living in the mining village of Bralorne B.C. Eventually Theresa and Bill, together with their young sons, resettled in Coombs.
She is predeceased by her husband, William Stickle, brother Julius Lacroix, and sister Adrienne Lacroix.
Survived by her children, Guy (Bev) Stickle, Greg (Helen) Stickle, and Julius Stickle, Grandchildren, Crystal (Mike) Lenz and Brandi (Clive) Brown, Great Grandchildren, Haily Brown and Laila Brown
Theresa is very sadly missed by her friends, acquaintances, and family far and wide. Her door was always open to all, strangers included, to pay a visit. Anyone that needed her special way of helping was always welcome. She was known to all as a kind-hearted woman that lived a simple life dedicated to her God and her family.
In keeping with the current limitations on gatherings, a private service for immediate family will be held, but please know that we appreciate your thoughts and prayers for our Mother.
Thank you to the nurses and doctors at NRGH, and the paramedics that helped us. Your kindness and compassion are heartfelt. Your exceptional dedication to the well being of all during such a difficult world is truly heroic. Thank you, thank you for your essential service.
