In loving memory ~
It is with heavy hearts that we announce that the rock, soul, and heart of our family, Terri Leah Beaudoin, passed away in the first hour of August 28th, 2022 at the age of 65 years.
We are infinitely grateful for her peace, knowledge, laughter and joy that she brought into every facet of her life; sprinkling it into ours, knowing when we needed it most. We take comfort in knowing that she is reunited with her mother and father, and we know that she is always with us, guiding us along the way. Always our confidant, our best friend, her loving, but firm outlook on life, love, and everything in between has influenced us all in the most positive of ways.
We will forever remember her ability to laugh at everything - herself included, her love of her family, soul sisters & friends, as well as her strength and pragmatic approach to the world. We will forever be reminded of her in the simple joys of everyday life, and we will always feel her unconditional love and strength.
Terri is survived by her husband Maurice Beaudoin, daughters Devin Mae (Riley) Beaudoin, Aimee Paula (Donovan) Beaudoin, Michelle Nicole (Emanuel) Beaudoin, brother Sheldon Duke, and granddaughters Elizabeth and Ella. She was predeceased by her parents, Tom and Verna Duke.
Terri's words to live by: Desiderata (excerpt):
"You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees & the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should."
Terri, Mom, Grandma; we know you're always with us, but we will miss you. Rest in peace, like you lived in peace.
A celebration of life took place during her final days with us, cremation will be in the coming days. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local SPCA in Terri's name. Terri will be interred alongside her mother & father at Holy Cross Cemetery in Edmonton, Alberta.
