Susan Louise Le Cren

In loving memory ~
Susan took her flight from this physical world on Friday, June 10 in the loving embrace of family and friends. Left with precious memories is her beloved son Sean Carroll and sisters, Anne Murray (Greg) and Marie Le Cren. She was an involved and loving Aunt to Evan (Jenna), Emily and Cameron (Neda) and to her grand nieces and nephews, Zarah, Samuel, Maëlle, Eliott and Ruha. She will be missed by life long friends, Valli and Joe Bajan, Dorte Christensen, Debbie and Barry Comis and Sandy and Bill Shearer.
Susan worked as a store administrator for Shopper's Drug Mart in Victoria and Nanaimo, for most of her adult life. She enjoyed traveling with her friends and family and visited, among other places, Israel, France, Hawaii, the Caribbean and the Baltic countries. She embraced the Bahá'i Faith in 2005 and was a member of the Saanich and Nanaimo communities.
We fondly remember Susan for her sweet nature. She was kind, generous and cheerful. Susan faced tests in her life with grace and during her unexpected and short illness never complain but was only concerned for others.
We deeply appreciate the Doctors, nurses and volunteers of the Palliative Care Unit at the Nanaimo Hospital for their tender care of Susan. It was an honor and comfort for us to walk alongside you over the last two weeks.
In lieu of flowers please consider making a contribution to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Hospice or Palliative Care Unit in your community or to an animal charity of your choice.
A private burial for family and close friends will take place at the Mountain View Cemetery in Duncan, BC followed by a celebration of life.
