Susan passed away at the age of 95 surrounded by her family that will miss her greatly. Susan was predeceased by Colin her husband of 58 years in September 2005, sister Pauline and brother Sam . She will be forever remembered by her son Gary Fox ( Merilyn) daughters Elaine Keen (Rick) Irene Lansdell (Grant) as well as five grandchildren , four great grandchildren and two sisters Louise Nemrava and Anne Walters.
Susan was born in Ujlocek, Chechoslovakia and immigrated to Canada with her family at the age of twelve. She lived in Castledale and Pitt Meadows B.C. before moving to Vancouver where she met Colin after WWII and moved to various towns on Vancouver Island before settling in Nanaimo for 48 years.
Susan was an extremely generous and kind person who loved to cook and bake for her family. The grandchildren will never forget her homemade pies. Susan and Colin enjoyed traveling and cruising the world in retirement.
