Susan Yager of Duncan passed away peacefully at Cowichan Lodge on Friday, September 18, 2020 at the age of 68 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Toby Sullivan (Jessica); brothers: Donald Yager (Cathy), John Yager (Márta); sister, Mary Yager; and close friends: Patrick and Michelle Sullivan and their children. She will also be dearly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Susan was born in Toronto, Ontario. She trained with the prestigious Cordon Bleu and worked as a skilled chef for many years before going on to graduate from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University.
In 1993, Susan relocated to the Cowichan Valley with her family where she practiced law for many years and served the Baha'i Faith.
Susan enjoyed travelling and cherished her many adventures around the world. She appreciated music and was an enthusiastic member of a local choral group. Susan will be remembered for her caring, generous, hospitable character and her willingness to help whomever crossed her path.
She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
