December 15, 1930 - October 12, 2020
Susan Eleanor (Hiebert) Wolverton, passed peacefully in the early hours of October 12, 2020 at the age of 89. Eleanor was pre-deceased by her husband Lorne and brothers Harold and Al. She is survived by her sons Leigh and Wayne and daughter Gail, 5 grandchildren and 12 grandchildren, sisters Erna and Leona, and brother Vic.
She was born in Alberta on Dec 15, 1930, grew up in Brooks, Alberta where she met and married Lorne in 1955. She raised her family in Calgary, Vancouver, Sunshine Coast and Gold River and then retired in Courtenay. Susan was active in her church and community, loved travel and had many adventures including biking much of the world!
Due to COVID, a private family internment took place at Cedar Memorial in Nanaimo.
Susan had a full, well-lived life and at the end looked forward to being with her Lord Jesus Christ whom she followed all her life.
