Steven John William Johnson

April 29, 1988 - July 18, 2019
We are heartbroken to announce that Steven Johnson, age 31, our beloved son, husband, brother, nephew, cousin and friend passed away suddenly on Thursday July 18th, 2019.
Steven was born April 29th, 1988 at Fazakerley Hospital in Liverpool, England. He immigrated to Canada with is parents and sister in summer of 1995.
He grew up in Campbell River, and at the time of his passing worked for Nyrstar at the Myra Falls Mine as a underground miner.
Steven had a profound and beautiful way of looking at the world and at life. He loved art in many forms, was unbelievably talented in drawing, painting, building, writing, and singing. He loved every genre of music from electronic to rock, loved playing guitar, and most of all, spending time with his true love and soulmate Ashley Johnson.
Steven had the biggest heart and wanted nothing more than to spread love, and make others laugh. He would help any soul who needed it, he loved fiercely and passionately all the people in his life. Those who knew Steven, even a little, know the world is a little darker without his light in it.
Steven was married on August 11th, 2018 and is survived by loving wife and soulmate Ashley Johnson, his parents Lynn & Steve Johnson, sister and brother-in-law Natasha & Jonathan Horne. He will be deeply loved and missed by parents in law Shannon and Troy Farwell, grandparents in law Deanne & Gary Farwell, Sister and family in law Sheena, Jeff & Baylee Youde. Loved and missed every day by his loving aunts, uncles, cousins, family, friends and co-workers.
We know Steven is now with his Nan & Grandad, Ann & Billy Roberts, and countless friends and family we've lost along the way, and is loved here on earth, as well as in heaven.
We love you and miss you more than words can adequately express son. XOXO
A Celebration of life will be held to honor Steven on Saturday, August 3rd 2019 at the Campbell River Sportsplex from 1 pm-4 pm to talk, grieve, love and cherish Steven's memory.
