September 5, 1943 - October 22, 2020
With heavy hearts and happy memories our family announces the passing of Steven Clark Fedichin. Steven had unexpectedly passed away on October 22nd 2020. He is survived by his wife Mathilda and his sons Steven (jr.), Tom (Arlene) and his daughter Michelle (Rob).
Steven was born on Sept 5th, 1943 in Comox British Columbia and grew up in Royston with his parents Stephen and Mary Fedichin and his brother Andy and two sisters Mary and Carol.
On May 16th in 1970 Steven had married Mathilda Janssen in Courtenay BC. Shortly after their wedding they moved to Campbell River where they built their home and spent the remainder of his life. Steven worked as a logger for most of his life and loved the outdoors.
After retiring from logging Steven spent his final years working Walmart and enjoyed working with the people there. You would find Steven camping or fishing in the summer anytime he could get a chance. Steven had a great sense of humor and was a loyal friend to many.
He forged strong relationships with those around him and loved everyone.
Steven has left us all with many great memories and will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Due to COVID19 no service will be held at this time.
