It is with sadness that the Teufel family announces the passing of their legendary Father, Steven Anthony Teufel (Tony "The Kid"), September 2, 1948 - July 28th, 2024.
He is survived by his loving wife Huana May (Didi) and his eleven children: Kristen (Marc), Jacob (Laura), Adin, Lucas (Natasha), Keely (Mark), Anna (Ryan), Victoria (Geoffrey), Maggie (Benny), Tanner (Shayde), Riley (Natalie), Emma (Martin). He will be greatly missed by each one, including his forty-five grandchildren & nine great-grandchildren, and respective other partners. As an amazing provider, Tony worked in management with BC Tel for 35 years.
Then in later years as a custodian in the CRBC & CLF churches, with paper routes & in parts at NAPA. He will be remembered for his hugely generous spirit, creative cooking, outrageous costuming, love for music, incessant teasing & mischief, and his love for babies & dogs. Always a character! As the 4th son of 14 children, Tony was always surrounded by people and loved to socialize. He had a fierce love for his family & held firmly to his faith.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Campbell River Baptist Church on Saturday, August 10th, 2024 at 10:30 am.
Another Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, Sept. 2nd, 2024, in Cowichan Valley.
