August 6, 1947 - January 15, 2022
It is with a heavy heart I announce the sudden passing of my beloved Stanley on January 15, 2022 after having a major stroke.
Stanley was born August 6, 1947 in Vancouver, BC. He is survived by Wanda his loving wife of 43 years, his daughter Michelle Humble (Alan), his granddaughter Jennifer White (Bryan) and great granddaughters Maya and Sienna, his brother George (Marlene) and 1 nephew and 2 nieces. Stanley was predeceased by his parents Stanley and Edouina.
Stanley loved being an army cadet and in 1968 joined the regular military and served until 1990, he loved the military and enjoyed moving around to different places, he was posted to Germany twice and his daughter was born in Lahr. He loved his 5 pin and tenpin bowling, loved teaching people to enjoy the games. While in Germany he found the love of golf which he played until back problems stopped him.
He was involved with greyhound rescue for many years having rescued 5 of them over the years.
Stanley was an easy going guy and would always want to help others if he could.
