Born in Gravelburg, Saskatchewan. Predeceased by Mother - Sophia and Father - John Henry, Brothers - George, Arnold, Roy and Erwin and Sister - Hilda, Nephews - Wayne, Howard and David.
Survived by Wife - Roberta, Brothers - Herman (Daisy), Art (Avis), Children - Timothy & Raishell, Step Children and many Nieces and Nephews.
Lived in many places across Canada, Came to Nanaimo in 1993, met his wife Roberta, moved to Ladysmith in 1996.
Sid was a strong Lions member who believed in helping those in need.
Member of the Ladysmith Legion and Seniors.
