Shirley passed away September 21, 2021 in, at the age of 88. She will be missed by her family in BC and Nova Scotia, including her son Paul (Susan) Pickles and her grandchildren Daniel and Spencer Pickles.
Shirley was a primary school teacher for 38 years, in both Ontario and Nova Scotia, specializing in teaching practical skills to disabled children. She will be remembered as a beloved mother, an avid golfer, and a strong-willed educator.
