Sharon, a resident of Comox, passed away peacefully at Glacier View Lodge on Thursday, September 30, 2021. Sharon was born on September 26, 1937 in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba.
Sharon worked as an Insurance Adjuster in Portage as well as a public servant at 19 Wing Comox for 15 years before retiring at the age of 60.
Sharon was a loving wife to Barry, mother to Darren (Maria), Kevin (Dee Dee).
She was also a Grandmother to Michael, Emily and Trevor.
Sharon married Barry in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba on August 27, 1960. While Barry was serving with the Canadian Armed Forces, they lived in Portage La Prairie, Moose Jaw Saskatchewan twice, Germany and finally retiring in Comox.
They both really enjoyed travelling to their place in California which they had for 15 years.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Sharon with the immediate family on a later date yet to be determined.
