Shoni passed away at home on Sunday March 24.

Shoni leaves behind her loving and devoted partner Bev Gray, son Randy (Syna, Ty & Mattea), Grand daughter Emma, and brother's Bill (Vivian) and Graham, Nephews Clayton (Nicole), Marshall (Debbie) and Brother in- Law Claude.

Shoni was about all things blue and butterflies. According to her granddaughter, Shoni took dress up and bedazzlement to the next level. She loved Christmas and thought the holiday season was about 10 months too short. She had a wonderful sense of humour, and could be seen dancing on the spot at a moment's notice when a song she liked started playing. To Shoni earrings were not only a fashion accessory, they were mandatory; and they had better match your outfit and fingernails.

Shoni was a selfless soul who saw the good in all people. She put the feelings and wellbeing of those she loved first. She spent her time here on earth helping others that needed it. Shoni's enduring legacy includes helping hundreds, perhaps thousands, of women as a counsellor at Aventa, a women's treatment center in Calgary.

Shoni had been a close friend of Bill W for many years.

In lieu of flowers, please take a moment to remind the special people in your life how much you love them. Everyday. It's important.

The family invites her friends, and anyone who's lives she may have touched, to attend a gathering to celebrate her life.
