Sharon Anne Margaret Smith b. Feb 6, 1943 died peacefully on Monday November 5th, 2018 at the Saanich Peninsula Hospital. Sharon is remembered for her 40 year career as a nurse/supervisor at Sick Kids Toronto and British Columbia Children's Hospital.
She was known for her humour, kindness, love of travel and enjoyment of life. Upon retiring to Sidney Sharon enjoyed the town as well as volunteering at Mount St Mary's and the BC Royal Museum. Sharon is predeceased by her parents Leslie William and Llewela (nee Lewis) Smith. She will be missed by her brother and sister in law Bruce and Eiddwen Thomas, family and friends, especially Marion Crook and Barbara Riding.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 18 at 2:00 pm at St. Andrews Anglican Church, 9691 Fourth Street, Sidney BC. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Saanich Peninsula Hospital Foundation.
