In Loving Memory ~
Sharon was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world in her hometown of Campbell River at the age of 82, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Sharon was born in Edmonton and moved a lot as a child. She went to many schools including Edmonton, North Vancouver, and Campbell River. It was here in Campbell River that she met the man of her dreams, Ervin Adams.
Simple pleasures in life gave Sharon the most joy. Such as thrift store shopping, getting her hair and nails done, and jewelry stores for something sparkly. Sharon was always a hard worker and took pride in her work and home. She worked at Pioneer Bakery, DADS Dial A Delivery Service, Plaza Bakery, Tyee Co ee Shop, Iron Kettle, and Pharmasave Downtown Tyee Plaza. She stayed in contact with her Pharmasave Girls and would meet up regularly for lunches.
Sharon is predeceased by her husband Ervin Adams, mother Pearl Campbell, father Allen Campbell, mother Genevieve Campbell, brother David Campbell, sister Collen Belanger, and brother Daniel Campbell. Sharon is survived and loved by daughters Kathryn Joyce (Thomas), and Shelley Adams (Steve). Grandchildren Ryan Joyce, Sarah Joyce, Cole Dobinson, and Lauren Dobinson. Sisters Shawnee Thew and Beth Albrecht. She also leaves many friends and other family behind. "It doesn't really matter, and I don't really care" was her failsafe in her arguments later in life. Sharon will be missed by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Donations, if desired can be made to the Campbell River SPCA and to the Cancer Society.
