It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Shannon Buhr on May 1, 2022.
Born in Saskatoon on October 10, 1969, Shannon spent her early years in Saskatchewan and then Fort St. John, B.C. She moved to Vancouver Island in the early 90's.
She loved the outdoors and did much hiking and mountain biking on the Island. She owned her own landscaping company, named The Lady Gardener.
Shannon will be remembered by her sons, Matthew and Nicolas Hay, ex-husband David Hay, her sister Megan Wilson, brother-in-law Brian Longhurst, and her father, Wayne Buhr.
Shannon is predeceased by her mother, Donna Loewen.
