March 29, 1957 - February 17, 2021
Scott William Robertson passed away peacefully in Rocky Mountain House, AB, surrounded by his family on Wednesday, February 17, 2021. He was born March 29, 1957 in Port Alberni, BC. He is predeceased by his parents Pete and Betty Robertson and son, Jordy.
Scott will be greatly missed by his wife Wendy, son Shea and grandson Coby, as well as his brothers, Ian (Helen), Jamie (Donna), Drew (Katherine), and his nieces and nephews, Nikki, Kelly, Blake, Cole, and Ashley.
Scott was born and raised in Port Alberni, BC and moved to Alberta at the age of 17 for fame and fortune working in the oil industry. Before moving to Alberta, he raced dirt bikes sponsored by Kennedy Motors in Port Alberni, like everybody in that era who was into fast cars and bikes.
He was a red sealed ticketed pipefitter and spent many years working as a Project Manager for an oilfield construction company, working on many big jobs throughout BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan.
He was a long time member of the Pine Hills Golf Club in Rocky Mountain House, AB and a 3 time Club Champion. Scott loved golf and going to golf tournaments with his golfing buddies in Laughlin, Nevada. Along with golf, Scott also enjoyed playing poker and long road trips with his wife Wendy.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff at the Rocky Mountain House hospital for the excellent care that they provided to Scott.
He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and co-workers.
