October 30, 1954 - November 7, 2019
Sandra (Sandy) Willshear nee Davies was born on October 30, 1954 in London England, she was the youngest of 6 children.
She was married to John for 45 years and they have 2 children, Ian (Kristine) and Leanne and 2 grandchildren, Ryan and Emily. She is also survived by 2 brothers Brian and Ron and her sister Sue.
Sandy and John met and married in 1974 and emigrated to Canada in 1975. They eventually made their way to the lower mainland and lived there until they retired to Parksville.
She was an avid knitter and crocheter, loved a good joke and a drink with friends. Her dogs were never far from her side.
She had a great sense of humour and in her 2 year fight with cancer she never lost her sass. She fought with grace, dignity and courage.
In lieu of owers, the family wishes for donations to be sent to Nanaimo General Hospital Palliative Care Unit. Also have a glass of your favourite drink in Sandy's honour.
