Born in Three Rivers, Que on Oct. 27th, 1940. She passed away peacefully with her family at her side at NRGH on Wed, Feb.13th, 2019.
She is now with her father Robert (Bob), mother Florence, and brother David.
She will be remembered for her caring, thoughtful and loving ways and will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.
Sandy is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Buster, sons Allan (Tonie), Rodney (Sherry) and Wayne (Darcy) and grandchildren Cameron, Braedon, Carly, Stacy, Kevin and a large extended family.
She has been a devoted volunteer in our community of Ladysmith, including:
* 257 Air Cadet Squadron
* Brownie Leader
* 43 years Ladysmith Legion (Past President)
* 8 years Ladysmith Hospital Auxiliary.
She and Buster enjoyed many summers camping/fishing at the GAP, and "Snow Bird Winters" in Arizona.
The family would like to extend special thanks to NRGH 3rd Floor Staff, the Renal Unit, and Palliative Care Unit.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, March 24th between 1 - 4 pm at the Eagles Hall in Ladysmith.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be appreciated.
