Our hearts are broken.
On Wednesday April 21, 2021 after a long courageous fight we lost our sweet son and brother Ryan Travis Moreland (Mordi, Morty) at the young age of 41.
Ryan passed away peacefully surrounded by his Mom and Dad, sister Alana, brothers Lorne, and Brent.
Ryan was born in Prince George and grew up in Langford and then started a family in Sooke. Ryan lived life to the fullest he loved being outdoors especially fishing and hunting.
Ryan was always the life of the party and he enjoyed cracking a warm lucky with his family, and friends.
We would like to thank the doctors, surgeons, and nurses at VGH for all their care and support they provided to Ryan and our family since December 29, 2020. Ryan is survived, loved and sadly missed by his Mom and Dad, Baba, siblings Lorne (Laura), Alana, Brent, wife Emily, their beautiful children River, Jacob, Henry, and nieces, and nephew. Ryan we love you and you are forever in our hearts. Soar with the eagles.
