With great sadness, we announce the passing of Ryan Williams, fiancé, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. Ryan grew up and went to school in Parksville and graduated from Ballenas Secondary school.
After moving to Victoria in 2014, he resumed his studies at Camosun College and then the University of Victoria, enjoying and excelling in his studies of History and English.
Ryan enjoyed gardening, camping, music from heavy metal to the classics and opera, and travelling with Janine. They took three extensive trips to Europe - England and Scotland, Ireland, and Spain and France.
Ryan enjoyed travelling to experience the real history he had read about in the books of his studies. He also enjoyed cooking and was a great chef. Ryan enjoyed walking in the outdoors with Janine and their dog, Newman.
Predeceased by his sister, Sarah. Ryan leaves behind his fiancé, Janine Winder; father Dean (Christine Rivers); mother Rita (Rafe); brother Michael (Andrea); stepsister Melanie Rivers (Aaron Nelson-Moody); nephews Jacob and Declan; Auntie Lynn; special brother Michael Hardy; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
Ryan was a kind, intelligent, loving man and will be missed by those who loved him.
