Russell Stewart of Westholme, BC. He spent the morning doing what he loved most, working on the farm. He passed away peacefully.
Soul With a Big Heart
He asks for nothing
But provides for the well-being of his family.
He never questions himself
Which is confirmed by his happiness in providing for us
He opens his heart to those around him and blesses them with his love.
This soul with a big heart, a consoling heart
Protects us and always has our happiness in mind.
He asks for nothing
But hopes for a smile.
He calls us to him with a specific goal of being his friend
But no one needs this call, because this soul with a big heart shines
So that it’s easy for people to be his friend.
The people he embraces understand that this soul with a big heart is a
part of their happiness
Not knowing how to express this love, their faces welted in tears
They can only manage a simple smile at him.
So it is up to us, the people who surround him
to simply say thank you to this soul with a big heart
Who comforts us and brings us hope knowing that this big hearted man
will always enhance our happiness.
We say thank you Russell for your love, devotion and support to all
those who survive you.

Predeceased by his parents Kate and Lawrence Stewart and good friend Billy Watt. Survived by his Aunt Mary Frances Stewart and many loving friends and family. He will be remembered and missed greatly by
all of the valley.
Celebration of Life tea will be held at the Cowichan Exhibition grounds on Wednesday, July 19th at 1pm. Everyone is welcome.
