Russell Henry Johnson, age 91, passed away peacefully on March 4 at Cumberland Lodge. Predeceased by his parents (Albin and Alice), sister Joan, brother-in-law Jack, and nephew Mike. He is survived and greatly missed by his nephew Pat (Carolyn), his niece-in-law Heather, great nephews Russell and Bruce (Kaileigh), and his great niece Emily (Jan).
Uncle Russ, as he was affectionately known by all who knew him, was a proud Veteran of the RCAF and a long-time Royal Canadian Legion member, serving on the Executive in various capacities in the Winnipeg and Point Grey branches. He was a warm, loving, generous man, who enjoyed a good story and laugh along with a nice "libation". He will be forever in our hearts and live on in our memories. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
