It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Roza Kincses on December 18, 2017 at the age of 91.
She was predeceased by her husband, Mihaly in 1989 and son, Zig in 2010.
Roza is survived by her children, Mike (Doris), Frank (Marj) and Liz, her daughter-in-law, Fay, her grandchildren, Tamara (Michael), Michael, Mark (Tawni), Karen (Paul), Kimberly (Craig), Kari (Brandon), Tasha (Braam) and Matt, and her great-grandchildren, Montana, Jackson, Alliah, Marcus, Jonathan, Sienna, Kiona, Harlowe and Holland.
Roza was born in Veszto, Hungary, she married Mihaly in 1944, they had their four children there before they escaped during the 1956 Hungarian Revolution, bringing them to Ireland before coming to Canada in 1958.
Roza was a very kind and loving soul, a great cook, had a green thumb and loved playing bingo and cards. We take comfort knowing she is with our Lord Jesus in Heaven.
The funeral will be held on January 6, 2018. The Burial ceremony will take place at 1:00 pm at the Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens and the Celebration of Life at 3:00 pm at 3079 Landmark Cres.
