Rosemary Alice Carter passed away suddenly on March 23, 2025, in Victoria, BC, at the age of 96. She was
born on December 3, 1928, in New Delhi, India, to Cecil and Alice Rae. Rosemary was predeceased by her husbands, Donald Hodge and Dudley Carter and her beloved daughter, Fiona Williamson.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Ewen Hodge (Ingrid) and Moira Suddaby (Roy); her grandchildren, Roger (Irena),
Genevieve, Toryn, Griffin (Nadia), and Tiegan; her stepchildren, Rhoda Chilton and Nigel Carter (Pat), and son-in-law Doug Williamson (Val) all who were very dear to her. She will also be missed by themanywonderful friends whose lives she touched with
her warmth, wit, and compassion.
Rosemary was devoted to all her four-legged friends of Oak Bay and was often more likely to remember the names of the dogs than their owners!
