Rose Marie was "Older than LIFE".
Having passed her "best before date", she has been removed from circulation and returned to her Maker.
She was: a ray of sunshine, kind, sincere, loyal, organized, disciplined, filled with laughter, and incredibly hard working. She was a business woman (Thompson Drugs and Meadowlark Motel in Hardisty, Alberta).
Possessing: wit, talent, intellect and charm she was an artist and writer. Her delightful book "A Meadowlark's Song" detailed 1940's life on a prairie farm.
She wore many hats: daughter to Maurice and Elizabeth Stumpf (deceased), sister to Shirley (deceased)(Henry Niemeyer) and James (Betty), wife of 62 years to Alan, mother to Nadine (Roger Sikorski), Glenn, Kevin (Rhonda), grandmother to Caitlin, Leah and Shawn.
Born - A Prairie Rose - October 3, 1936 (55 days before the publication of the first issue of Life magazine) at Olds, Alberta
Left on her next journey - An Island Girl - November 28, 2020.
