ROSE MARIE (Welcher) TAYLOR passed away peacefully at Wexford Creek Seniors Community on December 1, 2024, aged 86.
She was born on May 3, 1938 at her parents' farm near Rocanville, SK. She was the youngest daughter of James and Mabel (Davies) Welcher and was one of seven children.
Rose is survived by her husband Doug; daughters Karyn and Marina; grandchildren Derek and Tracie, Greg, Jeff and Jessica, Karina, and Alison; by her great grandchildren Colton, Brody, Tyrus, Halle, Eden, Sawyer, Kenna, Declan and Adaya; by her brother Reg and Gail; and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Rose was predeceased by her daughter Debra and grandson Andrew in 2018.
A Celebration of Life will be planned for late January. There will be a private family interment of ashes at Mountain View Cemetery in Duncan, BC near the burial sites of Rose's brother Murray, father James and mother Mabel Welcher.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Chemainus Pentecostal Tabernacle, Doug and Rose's home church for many years.
