April 17, 1938 - January 30, 2021
Rosaline Clayton passed away January 30th, 2021 in Campbell River, BC surrounded by her family.
She was born in North Star, Alberta to Greg and Rose Pridy.
Rosaline moved to Vancouver Island as a teenager.
She married the love of her life, Dwight, in 1956 and together they moved to Campbell River so she could work at the newly opened Overwaitea in Campbellton. Rosaline loved her 15 years at Overwaitea as a cashier and bookkeeper.
She went on to raise their family. Her children and grandchildren were the highlights of her life. Her many nieces and nephews and extended family also held a special place in her heart. Rosaline was generous with her love and her time. She volunteered at the Campbell River Hospital, and was a member of the United Christian Women's and Ukrainian Club.
Rosaline loved her life here on the island, fishing from dawn to dusk and camping with her family. Later, there was travelling, collecting mementos along the way, cruises, RVing and spending winters in Yuma.
Rosaline is survived by her husband Dwight, children Bryan (Megan), Laura (Brian), grandchildren, Ava, Nicole and Everest and her brother Rod.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date, when all those who loved her may be able to gather.
