March 23, 1945 - November 6, 2021
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear and beloved, Wife, Mother and Grandma at the age of 76 surrounded by the love of her family at Nanaimo Regional Hospital on November 6th, 2021.
Predeceased by her Mother Edna and Father Joseph, she leaves her loving Husband Dwight, Brothers Roger (Theresa) and Bill (Sandy), Son Sean (Michelle), Daughter Jennifer (Rob), Nephew Jared, Nieces Celine and Laura, her loyal pup Sully and her greatest joy, her grandchildren Noah, Kassidy (Matt), Sarah, Peyton, and Chase, along with many wonderful friends.
Born in Montreal, Quebec, Roz grew up in Headquarters and Oak Bay, British Columbia. After graduating from Oak Bay High School in 1963 she worked for the Province of BC, during this time she met her future husband, Dwight. They married in 1966 and soon settled in Nanaimo, BC with their children Sean and Jennifer arriving a few years after.
Roz was an employee of the Nanaimo Credit Union and Royal Bank for 30 years and was an avid softball player. When her playing days ended, she passed on her passion for the game as a coach for her daughter's minor softball team. She enjoyed gardening, baking, camping, and spending time with her friends and family.
At Rosalind's request there will be no service.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the BCSPCA in Roz's memory.
