It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother and Grandmother, Lee. Born in Aberdeen, Scotland, Lee moved to Canada to marry her fiance Ray, where they eventually resided in Kitimat for 32 years and later retired to the Comox Valley.
After recently losing her beloved husband Ray of 60 years, Lee leaves behind her children, Caireen, Fiona and Andrew, as well as her Grandchildren Megan and Caitlin.
Known for speaking her mind and her tenacious spirit, Lee loved to embark on new adventures. She began her career in politics as an Alderman in Kitimat, and then on to Chairman of the Regional District Kitimat/ Stikine. Later she became a radio talk show host and reporter for Skeena Broadcasters.
After retirement, Lee became a dedicated member of the Comox Valley Presbyterian Church, where her memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 30th at 10:30 am.
