It is with great sadness that the family of Ronda Miller (née Howson) announce her sudden passing on Friday, January 13, 2023 at the age of 64.
Ronda will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Dean Howson; children, Greg (Andrea), Kimberly (Brad); grandchildren, Jacob, Austin, Mason, Madison, Tylynn, Marik Howson; great-grandchildren, William, Wesley Howson; and numerous other family members and friends.
Ronda was predeceased by her husband, Dick Miller; parents, Harold and Evelyn Howson; brothers, Lorry and Bob Howson.
Ronda (Mom) was born in Dauphin, Manitoba on October 12, 1958. Moved to Williams Lake, BC in 1972, then finally to Nanaimo, BC in 1973, where her Dad opened his own mechanic shop. Ronda then started her career as a dispatcher for AC Taxi where she eventually met the love of her life, Dick Miller in 1980. They married on May 26, 1989 and were inseparable since. Dick started his new career at Purolator in 1997 and Ronda would often be riding shotgun, helping Dick with his route.
There will be a family gathering on May 26, 2023 where Mom and Dick will be laid to rest, together again.
A celebration of life will be held on May 27, 2023 for all to share stories and memories of our wonderful Ronda.
