With broken hearts, we let you know suddenly on Sunday, April 21, 2019 — in his happy place …. his Shop @ 694 Montague Rd. Ronald “Tony” Lafond went to join his beloved wife Dorothy who passed on January 17, 2018.
Ron leaves behind his daughter Candace, his son Rod (Andrea), his grand-daughters ShayAnne & Brystal (Jordan) & great-grandson Harry, & many family members & friends.
During his adventurous youth Ron started working as a trapper, a miner, a farmer, construction foreman & the ultimate lawnmower fixer upper, Jack-of-all-trades!! Ron retired from Mayo Western Forest Products Sawmill as the Head Oiler.
He loved winter so he could use his handi-dandy snow blower to clear a race way for his beloved dogs Suki & Swayzee in the backyard & graciously clean every driveway on the block!!
Thank you to the Muskeg Lake Band Office (Anita) & everyone who worked so hard to help Dad on that nightmarish horrendous life altering day. All our friends & family – – thank you for your love, kindness & support.
We will forever be grateful for each & every one of you very special souls.
No Service by Ron’s request. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Heart House in Victoria, in his memory.
