It is with great sadness that the family of Ronald D. Lewis of Black Creek, BC (former resident of Squamish, BC) announces his passing after a brief, courageous battle with lung cancer, on the morning of Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at the age of 69 years.

Ron will be lovingly remembered by his children, Ryan, Theresa (Justin,) Chantelle (Matt,) Candice (Dallas,) and Sarah (Eric.)

Ron will also be fondly remembered by his ten grandchildren, Cobi, Kyla, Brooklynn, Sage, Gracen, Abbigayle, Mallory, Carter, Logan and Austin.

He is predeceased by his brother and cribbage partner David (Debbie,) and survived by siblings Bill (Violeta,) Sheril (David,) and Brian (Tracey.)

Ron was grateful for the many visits and phone calls from his dear friends, beloved dog Toby and family while he stayed at The Hospice at The Views in Comox, BC during his final days.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, in the spring of 2018 near Courtenay, BC.

It was Ron's wish to have his friends from the motorcycle, classic car and corvette clubs participate in a driving procession with his family in lieu of a formal funeral.
