It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) William Bernard. Bob succumbed to his illness the morning of Tuesday February 20th while at Campbell River Hospital.
Bob was predeceased by his loving wife Valerie Hope Bernard and his brother Traford Bernard.
He was survived by his only child Duane Bernard and daughter in law Deanne Bernard, extended family and many long-time friends.
Bob spent close to half a century driving trucks all over North America before retiring in Clearwater BC with Valerie. After losing the love of his life to Cancer he made the move to Campbell River to reconnect with old friends, some he had known since his childhood.
Some of the things Bob loved to do in his retirement years included fishing, camping and bowling with family and friends. He loved life and the people around him.
We would like to thank everyone that was there to support Bob in this final journey of his life.
In honour of Bob's wishes, there will be no service at his request.
