It is with heavy hearts we share the passing of Bob Lloyd, 77 years old, of Nanaimo, British Columbia. On Monday, September 16, 2019, with family at his side, Bob's life came to an end after years of battling Parkinson's disease.
He was father to Tammy and Jason. Step-Father to Ehren, Adrienne, and Seann. Brother to Ron, Patrick, Gene, Marjory and Trudy. Grandfather to Dane, Colton, Joseph, Jacob, Madilyn, Jillian, and Macklen. He was predeceased by his wife Sidney.
He was born in St. John's, Newfoundland. He spent years with the Canadian Airforce, later worked for Xerox Canada, and for many years ranl sland Copy Center, a local business in Nanaimo. He loved spending time with his family, and friends as well as golfing, hosting, dinner parties or travelling. He was an active member of the Lantzville Rotary and Probus Club, for many years volunteering his time, love and and energy to those in need.
His family would like to extend much appreciation to the staff of Origins Retirement Facility for taking such wonderful care of him over the past few years.
A private family celebration of his life will be held in his honour at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in his name to Parkinson Canada.
He was loved by many and will never be forgotten.
