In Loving Memory ~
Doug Brown unexpectedly left us on July 10, 2022 in Nanaimo at NRGH.
He is survived by Lorraine, his loving wife of 58 years, his sons Kevin (Cheri), Bruce (Donna), grandchildren: Garrett, Justin, Jasmine, Riley, Christian and many other loving family members.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father and numerous siblings.
Doug was retired from Harmac Pulp Mill. During his life he volunteered countless hours at 256 Legion, coaching ball, track and eld and also was a Big Brother. Doug was happiest spending time with his family, (esp. his grandchildren) and golfing, camping and cruising.
He loved following most sports and world affairs and enjoyed sharing his witty opinions with his golf and coffee buddies.
Doug will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Aug. 5, 2022 at 2 o'clock at 256 Legion at 1630 East Wellington Rd. Nanaimo. All are welcome to attend to celebrate this wonderful man's life.
The family would like to thank Dr. Calvin, Dr. Booth, and Dr. Ontko along with the efficient caring staff at NRGH.
