Always prepared for the worst-case scenario and willing to help you overcome any obstacles that may be in your way. That was Bob. An honest man of great integrity and kindness. Full of love for his family and friends and always willing to step up and help in any way he could. He passed away peacefully after a lengthy struggle with Alzheimer's disease. Previous to his illness he enjoyed his 25 years of retirement from his career as a longshoreman with the love of his life of 64 years. This kind and gentle man will be sorely missed by his loving wife, Anita, brother Jack, son, Chris and his wife Fern, daughter, Tammie and her husband Scott. He was known to many simply as "Papa" as he spent much time with his grandchildren and their friends. His grandsons, Jason and Gerard and his granddaughter, Jacqueline will miss him for his generosity and patience as will his two great granddaughters Aubrey and Aria.

A private service was held for Bob on Wednesday Feb 27, 2019 and internment at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens on Tuesday March 5 2019.
