1944-2021 ~ In the early evening of June 13, 2021 we said goodbye to our dear Dad and Grandpa. Richard was a truly fine man. A man whose spirit touched everyone.
His expertise in the trucking industry led to many adventures but did not compare to his love for fishing, growing the best tomatoes in town, and the telling of a good joke. Above all, he loved and cherished his family.
With broken hearts he leaves his partner of 40 years Barbara; his children Nicole (Tim), Erin (Julie); his step children Blaine (Janice), Brandy; and his grandchildren Ben, Christopher, Coleton, Alex, Georgia, Finn, Ryan, Coulson, and Braedyn Ann.
A special thank you to Dr. T.A. Davies for his many years of friendship and special care.
To Rich's team of doctors, I. Dodo, M. Lam, K. Morrison, S. Pakrasi and the NRGH Palliative Care Unit, we thank you for your guidance and sensitivity.
No service will be held for Rich upon his request. To honour his memory tell someone a joke and share a laugh.
