Richard Franklin Miller (Dick), 76, passed away peacefully at home in Nanaimo, on April 8, 2019. He leaves behind his loving wife, Ronda; his sons, Talbot Miller, Richard Miller and Steven Miller; his daughter, Tara Miller; his two stepchildren, Gregory Howson and Kimberly Howson(Brad Griffin); six grandchildren, Jacob, Austin, Mason, Madison, Tylynn, Marik; one great grandson, William; his brother, John; and many close friends.

Born in Victoria BC and raised on Salt Spring Island, the son of Cal Miller and Elizabeth White. In his early years, Dick had a passion and love for driving. Specifically, racing stock cars and in 2014, was inducted into the 'Victoria Auto Racing Hall of Fame'. He would spend the next 55 years driving for Pepsi, Coca Cola, AC Taxi, followed by a 20 year career as an owner/operator for Purolator Inc. where he was dearly loved by his customers and co-workers alike.

Dick was always the life of the party, he loved to laugh and could tell a great story. A compassionate man, who would give you the shirt off his back to help, if he could. He will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to have known him.
