Richard passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on December 1, 2018. He is survived by his loving wife Jane Wilde; daughters Kate Fish (Chad Herbert) and Norah Fish (Dave Pottle).
Richard was a hand logger, commercial fisherman on the "Norah Flynn", and BC Ferries deckhand. He loved being on the ocean and outside at his homes on Porcher Island, Dodge Cove and finally Comox . He was a freestyle cook and is known for his love of daffodils and planting garlic. In the winter you could find him skating up at Wahl Lake.
