It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Dick Roscoe, on March 6th at the Views Hospice in Comox Valley.

Survived by his wife, Laurie, children: Steve (Kristel), Heather (Todd) and Geoff (Angela), Grandchildren: Victoria (Steve), Carson, Alexis, Connor, Aiden and Logan; and 1 great-grandchild, Dylan. Dick also leaves behind his sister Audrey (Fred). Predeceased by his parents Horace & Olive Roscoe.

Dick was a kind man, born and raised in Vancouver. He grew up on the waters of English Bay with a passion for sailing.

He was a proud member of the Masonic Progress Lodge #85 for many years.

Dick and Laurie retired to the Comox Valley in 2005. The waterfront was his favourite place and in retirement he opened a fish and chip trailer at Comox Marina Park. This gentle soul loved animals and was often found at Lewis Park in the morning with a bag of treats.

A Celebration of Life will be held in June, for information please contact a family member.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
