David went to be with The Lord August 22nd, 2018. Passing peacefully at Glacier View Lodge Courtney BC. the hours leading to his joyous union with Our Lord were filled with prayer and love.
David's life was a testament to God and service to others. He leaves with all who knew him a clear vision of what it means to be a servant of God, through years of ministry within the Anglican Church, and constant volunteerism.
David was predeceased by his first wife Alice, greatly loved by his surviving wife Irene, daughters Jennifer and Elspeth (Paul), grandchildren Anna and Isabel, step children Daniel (Cathryn), and their children Alexander and Nicholas, David (Maxine), Margaret(Scott) and their children Charity and Drew.
The family thanks Glacier View Lodge for their care in David's last months, and especially Lee Ann Martin for her dedication in care to David the past couple of years.
In remembrance of David's service to God and others, together with his passion for theology and education, you are encouraged to donate to Regent College, Vancouver BC.
A Funeral Service will be held at St. Peter's Anglican Church Comox BC Sept. 14th, 2018 at 1pm.
