October 6, 1934 - May 25, 2019
It is with great sadness that the family of Rena (Scott) Taylor- MacDonald of Campbell River, B.C. announces her passing on May 25th, 2019 at the Campbell River Hospital, B.C. Rena was born on October 6th, 1934, daughter of Eldon and Margaret Scott of Stonehaven, N.B. Rena leaves to mourn one son Donald (Dorothy) of Trenton, Ontario; four sisters, Clotilda Ellis, Alice Jagoe, Eileen Jagoe (Arthur) and Lela Branch (Percy) of Bathurst, N.B.; three brothers Wendell and David of Bathurst, N.B., and Earle (Bernice) of Nackawic, N.B.; also, three grandchildren, five great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Rena was predeceased by her son Hank (Henry) Ramsay of Campbell River, B.C. She was very active in the Canadian Auxiliary Legion, along with playing multiple crib games a week. Rena also had great love for her two dogs Missy and Peanut. Remains are in the care of Sutton's Campbell River Funeral Home. There will be a Memorial June 22nd 3 pm at the Legion and later a burial at Stonehaven New Bandon Union Cemetery N.B. Special thanks to the Campbell River Hospital, nurses and doctors, especially Dr. Farias. Thank you to hospice care and Ironwood Place. Thank you to the multiple crib friends she made throughout the years and a special thanks to Peggy Kemp her known "Campbell River angel".
